Folks,
I was just fooling around with my Ace 250 comparing tones on the Explorer in my backyard and I found this 1976 dime that a mower ate for lunch and then spit back out. I thought it was going to be silver because it was deep but alas it was not to be. I also found this bottle while digging another signal. The bottom says 1872 on it; could that be the date? Other than on the bottom of the bottle there are no markings on it. It is light brown. Anyone know what the markings mean?
Thanks for looking.

BTW, the top of the bottle bottom has a 'G' inside a box and a '54' next to the box.
