Went back to the same site that I scored the 1859 Canadian Large Cent, yesterday. Got a couple suspender clips, one is a Peabody....a small crotal bell, a marble?....some head stamps ......and a coin that is a first for me.....any help! 1016180928.webp1016181213.webp1016181441.webp1016181442.webp181016143724751.webp181016143830826.webp

3 cent nickel ... nice

Nice hunt! :occasion14:

The coin is a 3-cent piece...very cool find!

nice finds like the 3 cent nickle

Chime - 3 cent piece, I hope to find one, one day, bucket lister...

Thanks for the ID guys. I have hammered this site for 4 years with my stock Etrac coil, switched to my Coiltec 10x5 because of the stubble and the spokes, and I am picking up stuff I have walked over for years. Love the seperation in the nails and junk!

Wow! That is one sweet coin!

Grats on a nice hunt with a hard little coin to add to the dug collection.

Awesome Thrickle

Nice 3 cent'er! Looks a bit 'dry', did you use something acidic to clean it?

Well done, not an easy one to find, congrats

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: Nice 3 cent!

Good job! A "trickle" is still on my bucket list. :icon_thumright:

WTG on the 3 Cent Nickle, very hard to find!

Awesome find! What did it ring up as? I recently found a trime that rang up 35-40 (buttons, beaver tails, aluminum siding) on my mxt and was curious what the 3 cent nickel rings up as. Im not too familiar with the etrack id numbers though. My guess would be around the foil area

Your right Been.....12-3 ..... I was shocked to see a coin. I use a relic program in two tone ferrous and dig most everything on the non ferrous side, as well as some big iron...Axe heads etc....
