Found this at one of the parks that I like to go too. Weighs it at 5.2 grams. Looks to be bronze by the weight. Appears to have very little ware. Also found several nickles, 1949s-1954s-and one that I can't get a date on and two wheat pennies in bad shape. Thanks for looking!

Anyhoo....

That's SWEET!!!

It's a bit like the Thrupney bit :laughing7:

Nice find in a American park coin is in great shape ,just goes to show what can fall out of someones pocket

Great bronze!!! Does seem to be narrow date (wide date variety are rare). Don't know for sure. You can check it with a coin dealer.

Sweet bronze penny Jog....
good shape, but makes a person
wonder just how it got there and
how long it has been in the ground.
Gold Nuggets :hello:

Everytime I find a different coin at this park I wonder the same thing.
I have found silver dimes, an Indian head penny,Wheaties, coins from Mexico and now this. This park is way out in the middle of nowhere.
I will just keep hitting it and see what turns up next. Thanks for looking!
