1880 Silver Nickel & other assorted stuff!
Hi All,
What a beautiful day here in Ohio. It got up to 76 degrees and that's time to go hunting, muddy fields or not.
I went back to the sight I found a 1899 Silver Dollar at Jan. 11, 2007. Got a few hits found some old relics and my first good coin was a burnt 1946 Silver Quarter. I then found a 1937 Wheat penny.
Then best of all I found this coin that I thought was a 3 cent piece because it was so small. It turned out to be a 1880 Canadian 5 Cent piece. Wow, I couldn't believe it. It really made a great sound on my ACE 250.
As you can see in the pictures I also found a part of a sigh, a broken sleigh bell, 2 Mason jar lids, a axe, a boundary stake, and a something.
I also found a really neat Arrowhead just laying on top of the ground at this same spot.
Not to bad of a day the 13th of March.
Thanks for looking at my post and Hope you all had just as great of a day!
