1880's One Room School Hunt

Went on a hunt with Hightone. Hit a farm yard and a one room school that started in 1880 to 1950. Lots of bush but it a cool old site. The days hunt only produced 6 wheaties,1 buffalo and some relics. My first buffalo for 2012. The 2 school photo was taken in 1969 and the other in 1984. Should of got a photo when I was there. The site has really grown up over the years.

If you get a chance, post a photo. It is sad that so many classic examples of craftsmanship are being allowed to disappear into dust. Well done on the saves. I bet there a good silver waiting for you out there.

I went to the first grade in a school very similar to that one.
There has got to be some good finds there.

Next time out there I will. It beyond repair now. The center of the roof, ceiling, and floor have collapsed.
