image.webpI thought this was a toy badge and my plan was to check out some different attachments for my Dremel. Rookie mistake. I realized quickly that I had something all together different. I have not been able to find a match online so I am not sure how genuine it is.
I found this about 6in down in an area that dates back to this time frame. Pretty cool piece if its genuine. Going in the showcase nomatter

Very Cool!!! Congrats!!!

great find for sure. I've had that sinking feeling many times when I realized my choice of cleaning method was damaging the finds. super cool save though

Good find. No reason to believe it’s not genuine. Matches this one, believed to be ‘inauguration’ rather than ‘campaign’:

Cleveland.webp

I’m sure that’s correct for an 1893 date. Any campaigning would have ended when the election took place on 8th November 1892. Cleveland was then inaugurated on 4th March 1893.

That is a neat piece.

Congrats on a rare find !

Very interesting piece! A little harsh on the cleaning but great find regardless- Congrats!

Ouch, lesson learned, hopefully. Nice save indeed, congrats!

Wow, that’s it for sure. Thank you for sending that picture. Inauguration does make more sense for the date.
