1894 Cripple Creek map

About 4 years ago a local told me about this map he found behind a wall. I said if he ever wants to sell it let me know. About a year passed and he asked if I could mow his lawn. I was doing odd jobs at the time. I told him I’d mow his yard all summer for the map and he agreed. He might have got the better deal. He had a huge yard but It only needed mowing about 4 times for our short season. I had found a similar one for 2000 so I put mine on Facebook marketplace and have received a few low ball offers until yesterday when I received this from the pawn stars tv show. I don’t think it will go anywhere but maybe you will see me haggling with Chumlee!!!
Probably nothing will come of it. It’s a great map 1894 library edition with a special cripple creek map. I’m not sure they would give me very much, but maybe I could advertise my little store in some way, and bask in all that fame and glory

Nice Cliff !!!! Congrats !!!! Cant wait to see ya on TV !!!! BUUUUUUUUUT, you have to tell me who is getting $2000 for them . In 1992 or 3 we found a stack of these in an attic in Cripple Creek , 3 were the one you have ,we each still have one of those , Owen got the other one . In the stack there were these, the San juans (Silverton) and other places in Colo , even had ones from Calif , I don't remember exactly how many we had but it was around 15 to 20 .

I talked with the lady today, it will go to the editors next. I saw a similar one on mtgothictombs website. I’ll let them haggle me down if I get on. I also sent a picture of my dog tags. I probably want to much for them! It’s awesome you found that many maps, around here you never know.

There was so much stuff in that attic ! I suspected that’s where that price came from. Don’t go to the casino after Rick buys your stuff !!
