Grats on the pre 1900! I love your name. That's like when I need to get to work, just one more hole...OK just one more! Lol

Very nice! Curb strips are one of my favorite places to hunt. Such an accessible, target-rich site.

Love that old One Cent Coin. Curb strips in old neighborhoods are likely to have concentrations of all kinds of goodies. As close to fishing in a barrel that I can think of for metal detecting. Welcome to the T-net and that "old" Minelab Explorer II will get you the good stuff for sure. Clear out those strips my friend. If you don't someone else will.:headbang:

Congrats on your Indian Head. Curb strips can be a great place to hunt.

Kurios, you are definitely right about the curb strips yielding the goods! So far it's been the best hunting. I am just surprised I can't get anything old out of our yard. The iron infestation is bad....especially nails closer to the house. I do love my Explorer but it does have a learning curve.

I find it hard to stop digging...like playing slots ; ) Usually, it takes dead batteries, darkness or a yelling wife to end a hunt.

Very nice detail on that '97 IHP. Congrats on the great find!

great find on the IH. I am guilty of one more hole all the way back to the truck but it has paid off several times

Ive hunted strips that act like huge coin spills! They just keep producing.

I have a bunch of "Program Cards" I got from an English gentleman off E-bay. They are just suggested programs for different environments. If you like I can shoot you a few of the ones I use and other suggestions I have learned over the four or so years I have swung the Explorer II. Manual mode will get you a bit more depth I have been told. Anyhow, I'll talk to ya' later. Got errands to run. Adios.:hello:

Congratualtions on the IH cent! :occasion14:

If the goodies are there the Explorer II will "sniff it out". :icon_thumright:

Congrats . Treasurer is great!!!!

Thanks Kurios! Yes, I'd be very interested in seeing the card data.
