1902 V Nickel found in the lake

Found a new lake location to metal detect. Found a 1902 V nickel in the lake! This is the oldest coin I have found and my first V nickel! It was a perfect fall evening to treasure hunt. You can count on me returning for more hopefully this weekend!

Congrats! I’ve only found one, and it was in 1974! A1907 in my grandmothers sandy back yard in northern MI. I still remember the excitement after 36 years!
