1910 time capsule found!!
about three months ago my mom(boopchapman7456) ran across a little info on a time capsule that was buried in 1910 in one of the local parks and being over a 100 years old and never heard of any opening of it we went on the hunt well we found it (found with metal detector) but had to go though the city since it was on park property well nobody knew of a time capsule since it was buried before it was park property. well after a few council mettings it was passed to have it opened but since nobody knows were it was except mom and me we sat down some demands 1.everthing goes to local museum 2.any family airlooms go to family 3. anything park related goes to the park 4. since mom did the research and recovery she gets to open the capsule. well everything passed and today was the opening went great three different news papers,7 pics of the park zoo 1 pic of lions 2 pics of bearcubs 1 deerheard 2 pics of park pavillion and 1. city mayor holding a bearcub ,a copper plate with names engraved of local mayor etc. a letter from a state att, some records of council mettings etc. the opening of the time capsule was recorded and now we are going to try to get it passed that we put the old stuff and some new stuff in a new box a have it reburied for a hundred more.

this time capsule has been so cool really how often are ya gonna find over a hundred year old time capsule that has been lost in history (forgotten) that is why everybody says do research!! the Carma gods are gonna be nice to my mom soon she has now found and returned a class ring that was stolen then lost by the thief over 10 years ago and now saving history with a lost and forgotten time capsule good job mom!!! and like i said at first we really wanted everthing to go too the museum but after opening the capsule now we think all the old contents should be added with some new and get reburied we will see if we can get the council to pass it!! sorry i dont have any closeups of the paper maybe mom does on her camera![IMG_1188[1].webp](/data/attachments/547/547633-a4f83e7c668b21d734bd32e7e1b79229.jpg?hash=u-QQDM1axL)
