1912 logging camp sledge hammer restore

I wish I would have taken some before pics as I didn’t expect such great results. I soaked the hammer in vinegar for three weeks changing the vinegar weekly and hitting it with a wire brush. I finished it with a wire wheel and just need a handle

There is a product called, "Renaissance Wax" that will keep it from rusting up again.

i believe this could be a Klein & Logan based off of the design and they were selling R.R tools.
This camp was 1912 and fits the era. I found a bit of info as well.mine is 6 pounds and falls into the correct length for a K&L 6#
