1912 or 13 nickel

Found this sunday and its so oxidized i cant read all of the date.

Any idea how i should proceed with cleaning?

In the past i`ve found there`s nothing that makes copper this old look better.
Its already had a water soaking with a super soft toothbrush light scrubbing.

Photographed though a 10x microscope.

Im sure its the 1912 as there are only 5 known 1913 v nickles. I use ketchup on my nickles but any cleaning is apt to take the date off looks fragile. Good luck.
