1914-S Barber Half Dollar and need ID on Relic. I am happy today

My first really good finds, considering I started metal detecting 2 months ago. 1914-S Barber Half Dollar found in an old field today around 8 inches down. Also found an old badge with an Indian hat on it with numbers "3013". Can you guys please help me IDing the badge. Thanks. It was a long 5 hour hunt but well worth it, for me.

Congratulations on the Barber half. I have been hunting far longer then you and still have yet to find one. The badge is cool too, but I have no idea what it was used for.

I am thinking that it is an early or very late(because of the 4 digit #) hat badge for the indian trail bus lines that made it's way out west years ago.. can you take a pic of the back of the badge? either way cool find !!
