Hello!
I took another little road trip up to Portland to do some treasure hunting with Bill L. . . . . I didn't find as many silver coins as I did a couple weeks ago, but I managed a few goodies! The most interesting things I dug were actually found together in the same hole! A 1917-s Merc dime and a 1905 Lewis & Clark pin thingy (assume it is a hat pin or lapel pin). I found these in the same strip of grass less than ten feet from where I dug a 1921-D Merc dime back in April of this year.
I also dug about a dozen wheat cents and a 1952 Rosie dime. Bill dug several wheats and 2 silver Washington quarters! We had a great time!
Thanks for looking!
Neil
