After a week of warmer weather, this weekend the ground was finally thawed out enough for me to go out on a hunt today. It was still cold and pretty muddy, but at least I could dig.

I took my Equinox out for a spin at a local schoolyard I've hit lots of times before. It didn't disappoint - my second signal was a 1919-D Merc, and I also found a small silver ring marked "Sterling".

It felt good to be able to get out and even better to score some silver. I'll take a double-silver hunt any day! Thanks for looking - HH!
