1928 Buffalo nickel, 1960 Silver from Venezuela, 9 wheats, & clad.
Hello friends!
I actually wasn't planning on going detecting today because we had family visiting us from out-of-town for the weekend. But they headed back home early afternoon on Sunday so the wife & I grabbed a picnic dinner and went downtown to a little park. We've hit this area pretty hard in the past but I still managed to dig a few treasures! Here's what I dug today:
1960 Venezuela One Bolivares (5 grams of 835 silver!)
1928 Buffalo nickel
9 Wheats ~ 27-S, 39-S, 44-S, 44-D, 46-S, 47-S, 50-D, 52-D, & 55-D
10 clad quarters
10 clad dimes
2 nickels
42 Memorial cents
The 1960 Venezualian coin is bigger than a nickel, but not quite as big as a quarter. It came in at +88 on my XLT ~ I thought I was digging up a silver quarter! It's cool to see that it's weight and silver content already stated on the coin ~ 5 grams of 835 silver! This is my silver coin find #86 for the year!
Thanks for looking!
Neil
