So I dumped $400 in Ikes and I got back two 1929 National Currency $10 bills.

One is from the First National Trust and Savings Bank series 3050 serial # A000139
Other is First National Bank of Baltimore series 1413 serial # D034789A

These bills have seen wear and by no mean are pristine.

Anybody have any idea of any value even if they are in the worst condition.

As to why you would dump 400 Ikes at a bank is beyond me but those National notes are amazing finds. Can you post photos of them?

The 2008 copy of The Red Book (retail values) lists NBN 1929 small-size $10 notes in two types with no value differences through grade EF-40 (VF-20: $90; VF-40: $115).

question did they hand these to you or did you ask for them or did you bye these after getting the money from dumping the ikes. if they just gave these to you as part of the money from dumping the ikes then i am jealous. nice finds. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumleft: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: :headbang: :hello2:
