Very nice return on a 1 cent investment! Minus the grading fee of course. Congrats.

Very very nice!!! I have yet to find a key or semikey

I love seeing these posts!

Good job. Nice find. :-)

Great cent! Do you get a lot of coins graded I've gone back and forth as to whether or not I want to send mine in.

Great find! And a high grade semi-key coin. That had to have come from a dumped collection.

My general rule on whether to grade a coin is this: if having it in a holder increases the selling price by more than what I could sell it for raw (adding in the fees), then I send it in.

For example, I bought a 1912 S nickel at a shop. It was priced at a F12 price, but looked like F15 or maybe VF20. I haggled, bought it for $180, and sent it to pcgs with 4 other coins. At the time, the charge was $18-20/coin + shipping. It came back F15. The pcgs price for F15 is $330. It will definitely sell for a lot more in the holder than it would raw claiming it to be F/VF.

Another example: I have a '55 dbl die cent I bought raw on eBay (in 2004) as XF for $700. I sent it to pcgs and it came back AU50! It lists in pcgs price guide today at $2000!

Awesome find, dude! :)
