1934 p liberty peace dollar

My dad was at the gas station yesterday and he saw in front of him that a lady paid with a 1934 peace dollar so he told the cashier that he would buy and bought it for a dollar how much do you say it is worth.

BTW, I'd ask the gas station guy on that duty shift if he recognized that lady--and see if you could then contact her for more. For a rough estimate of your coins grade, you may wish to go to the library and find Yeoman's current book and read what it takes for your coin to achieve various grade levels; and check out Ebay for the same coin and compare to yours.
