1936 Washington Value?

Internet says that one in great shape can bring $4800.00 I’m thinking that it grades fair to good. The picture is through a magnifier so you can’t see the text Liberty. Any input would be appriciated.

I'm afraid yours won't be worth near that much, sorry. Does it have a mint mark on it?

I didn't think that it was worth any where near $4800. No mint mark. I'm just interested in a ball park figure. If its just melt value that's OK with me.

From what I see, the numismatic value is about $8.00. The melt value is about $5.00. Seems it's still worth a tad bit more than melt value!

With 41M minted and in that condition, I think anything over melt is pushing it.

Here's a "D" mint mark one in similar condition to yours that sold yesterday for $4.76.

Normally, 1936-D sells slightly over melt...not this time. I have one I got from a Coinstar reject.
