Pretty amazing find for Colorado! Maybe it was minted in Denver?? :laughing7:

Born Free

I would be afraid to guess how many coins have been brought to the U.S over the last few hundred years.
Their have been so many people move here from Europe and many went out west , I would guess one of them could have dropped it.
And who knows someones grand parent may have given it to a great grand kid and they dropped it in the park last summer .
I quit trying to find out how or why things get where they are , as it will drive you mad trying to find that out ! ;)

NEW ZEALAND Half penny KING GEORGE VI.
LOL i actually found one also at a park here in california.

Nice.

One of my strangest finds was a 1943 Australian Florin found in Jackson Missouri. Last time I checked Australia and Jackson Missouri aren't too close together. LOL.

WWII era, most likely a US soldier keepsake :icon_thumright: Then maybe the kid got it

Nice :icon_thumleft: Been diggin in Colorado for 30+ years , and know anything is possible
