1941 error penny?

Came across this today. I have very little knowledge about error coins so I thought I would post it here to see if someone could tell me if it is indeed an error, what type, and if it has any value or not?

Very Interesting. The face looks like it was scrapped but the 19 look like a total error.

I think it is just damaged, you can see the remains of the 9.

yup, took a hit early on and then was in circulation for a while.
