Found a nice 1942 type 1 war nickle today in change. Helps get through the ice age here till spring. Cladius.

Excellent score Claudius! I have found quite a few silver Rosies, and even a Mercury dime or two in change over the years, but never a war nickle. Add that to the treasure collection! HH!

Nice find. I use to put a dime or nickel in the vending machines at work. And hit the return button. Got a few 40's and 50's nickels and a couple silver dimes. It doesn't return your coin, but another one from the bottom of the stack.
