1954 Motorama Token & 4 Silvers from S.F. Park

I've been hitting the same park in San Francisco four weekends in a row and keep pulling out silver coins. The silver quarter is a 64-D, the rosies are 49-S and 64-D. The mercury dime is a 1944-D. All coins were between 6 and 3 inches deep. 9 wheat pennies were found, also got a silver ring and about $9.50 in clad.

This spinner or advertising token was passed out by GM for promoting sales of its car lines.
Motorama was an auto show staged by General Motors from 1949 to 1961. These automobile extravaganzas were designed to whet public appetite and boost automobile sales with displays of fancy prototypes, concept vehicles and other special or halo models. In 1956 over 2.2 million visitors attended. The dates were New York City (January 19-24), Miami (February 4-12), Los Angeles (March 3-11), San Francisco (March 24-April 1), Boston (April 19-29). Featured cars included Buick Centurion, General Motors Firebird II, the Oldsmobile Golden Rocket, Pontiac Club de Mer, Cadillac Eldorado Brougham and Eldorado Brougham town car.

Nice finds Mike! Almost matched you coin for coin yesterday except I got an extra rosie but no ring. Got 9 or 10 wheat's too
