Depends on grade.

Thanks for the responses. My redbook is from 2012 and I loaned it out recently.
I looked up these on ebay and saw some going for 50-70 dollars.
I also saw some graded and slabbed going for 500 or so.
So I was just wondering what mine might be worth.
Didn't want to sell it for 50 if its worth a lot more.
Thanks

Look for finished auctions on eBay. That's the only way to see actual prices there. They may list them for a certain price, but that doesn't mean they'll sell them.

Everything depends on grade. A deep mirror with Cameo Devices (where the face is frosty white, and the field is black mirror) is premium and will get 10 to 100 times the going price for a similar coin without the contrast. The one shown does show evidence of Cameo finishings, if so, that is about 1.5x to 2 x the regular price. It is impossible to grade from those pictures.

Instead of the redbook, you should be going to PCGS.com for more up to date pricing. I use my trusty dusty 1985 redbook to tell me if a coin is a key date, if so, I check it on PCGS, if not, it is type price, spot silver price, or whatever.

Agreed. ebay sold is a good guide, but without a proper grade, you really don't know what you have. If you are not confident in getting that graded yourself, then you should find someone to give you some guidance... Slabbing is expensive, so you need to be careful and only do it to coins that deserve it.

Nope. They were issued in a cellophane envelope or in plastic baggies in a box.

I have ordered coins in proof sets that were already in plastic.. from mint. All be it 30 years ago.

Thanks to all for adding their $.02.
correct me if im wrong but I think it costs around $20-30 to have a coin graded with NGC.
Not sure the coin is worth grading.
Im trying to save up for the XP DEUS detector.
I listed it on ebay as a 3-day auction with a buy it now of $95.
It currently has about 5 hrs left and 2 watchers.
I will follow up at end of auction.
