definitely an error, but i dont know if it's worth anything, 1958 was the last year for the wheat.

Looks like it may be a die chip, might have been worth a little but has been badly damaged by a cleaning.

It might have been a BIE die chip but someone has cleaned the coin and messed with it. Now it is worth face value.
