So if you were thinking that I meant that there were wheat cents dated 1960, that's not the case. Last week, I got my $50 in cents from the bank and ended up with another $50 of 2011 cents. On Saturday, I took them to another branch and asked if they had any "not new" cents and they had $50 that someone had brought in, so I traded them the 2011's for their $50 of hand rolled cents. While boxing up the hand rolled ones, I noticed some old wrappers and commented that it would be nice if the coins were as old as the wrappers.
As it turns out, they were. Instead of getting one or two wheat cents in every few rolls, it was the opposite - one or two memorial cents in every few rolls. I ended up with 1960 wheat cents, 1 Canadian George V cent, and 17 Canadian George VI cents. Here is the breakdown by date / mint:
