Dug up this 61' Lincoln cent with no mint mark, which I believe defaults to the Philadelphia mint.
The error I'm referring to is on the Lincoln Memorial side which Lincoln is missing from the memorial. Any info or comments from you coin buffs and collectors is appreciated!

Never heard of a "missing Lincoln reverse". Maybe you have a new error find.

It was a coin on eBay that showed up during a search that said the Lincoln was missing. I never noticed that Lincoln was actually in the memorial until I found the listing. Then I looked at my 61' Lincoln and sure enough it seems to be missing.
Thanks for the input!

Sorry, but old Abe is there. Look at a Memorial Cent with little wear or oxidation. He is small and definitely not a prominent feature on the reverse. Considering the amount of wear and oxidation on your coin, I am not surprised some may not see him.

I agree with the above statement. That coin's surface has been thru hell and back! I wouldn't expect to see Abe either!

Lol yeah it has definitely seen better days! Thanks for the input everyone.

I messed with the lighting and zoomed in really close and I think I can actually make out Honest Abe right between the two pillars. I attached the photo I edited.
