Hello friends, I scored this 1969 Accutron 14kt Gold in a bag of watches at my very first sale. All others watches were Timex, a few Seikos, a Longines, and a few women's watches, but this was the cake on the icing. It's a beautiful watch. The band is brand new, as it came with a stretchy Spidel that was not doing the watch any justice. As always, your comments are appreciated.

Now that is a bag I could sink my teeth into! Great watch info great condition.

Were any of the Seiko's the 7005 -8040 I have parts for one and have been looking for one PM me if so.

Love it! Amazing the amount of gold they would use to make so many things back in the day - back when gold was comparatively cheap compared to today. Imagine $1 use to be a coin made of gold legal to use up until 1933 and less than $30 for a full oz of gold.

Thanks to all, I appreciate it. None of the Seikos are the 7005-8040. I do come across a lot of Seikos, so if I do, it will be my gift to you, just for the cost of shipping. :-)

Great score. I have one of these. Heavy. Is it running?

I would sure appreciate that I have been wanting one of those for awhile the one I had, the movement was shot.(It had moisture in it and has rust so it won't ever work right again.)
