FOUND THIS ONE YESTERDAY AT AN OLD COMMUNITY BUILDING. CANT FIND ANYTHING OUT ABOUT IT?

FRONT SAYS: FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA
1972 NATIONAL CONVENTION
VOCATIONAL AGRIBUSINESS
BACK SAYS: KANSAS CITY THE HEART OF AMERICA

ITS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SILVER DOLLAR AND WAS BRONZE IN COLOR AFTER IT WAS CLEANED UP.

FFA is a school club and like the science fair students could win a trip nationals if there projects really stood out.

The Future Farmers of America held their conventions in Kansas City for over 70 years... up until 1998...

It looks like you have a token from that year from that convention...

Nice find, As big as the FFA program is you don't see a lot of digs on their pins and badges.At least I don't. Was in KC myself for the 1973 Convention. Seems the only thing I can remember, other then the long drive to get there was that Jerry Clower and Presdent Gerald Ford were the guest speakers. Jerry Clower got three standing ovations, President Ford none. Thought it kind of bad for Ford at the time. Out of respect and the fact he never fell going and coming from the stage. But then again Ford did not have Marcel Ledbetter. HH
