1976 D wierd strike?

Found this wierd penny with Libert bell above "liberty" and USA stamp on other side of Lincoln. Penny has a strange brass color and I have no idea if this is some sort of commemorative thing or some yahoo with a machine?

Looks to me like a curio stamp. Remember the 'Kennedy looks at Lincoln' pennies from a few years back? Same type of thing. Collectible, but not worth a whole lot. I think I paid $.25 for my Kennedy/Lincoln penny back around 1975 or so. Right now its probably worth $.01. Don't know why yours is an off color-- probably plated for show, which is also an inexpensive process.

I have a few of those, including the Lib. bell/USA, the kennedy, and a shamrock. I find them once in awhile in change, and all I have had residue on the back like they were glued to something.
