"1984" George Orwell First Edition?

Hello, I got this at a goodwill for 35 cents and I am having trouble finding out if it is a first edition or not and how much it is worth

June 1949 is when the first 100,000 copies were sold in the US, 1948 for the UK by a different publisher. Typically if it is a subsequent printing it will list the years or months it was reprinted. If that is an authentic 1st edition of Nineteen Eighty Four then it is very valuable and worthy of the banner. Link to the history. I love books.

Depends on condition etc. Originally had a dust jacket. Is it stamped with library marks or other such stuff. A quick search from about $30.00 to $300.00. Not bad for .35.

Don't know value Cool find and can only guess it's value will increase further over time. Great find for 0.35

The book is in nice shape, only someone's name written in pencil and an old price written in pencil- everything else is clean
