Hello All,
I was going through another box of halves and a 1985 P mint mark stood out like a sore thumb. The area around the P is recessed so much that it looks like it was added after it was struck. The P itself is also sunken compared to a normal half. As a result, the P and area around it have not worn like the rest of the coin and are quite shiny. I don't know if it is worth keeping or throwing back into the return pile. You thoughts are appreciated.
To the naked eye, the recess is clear as day, but my photos fail to show it well.

Keep it or dump it? Thanks!
