the metal color of this dime does'nt match any other 1994 D DIMES

As for your dime. To me, it looks like it has either been exposed to the environment for a period of time or exposed to some chemical that caused a reaction with that finish being the result.
 
THE DIME IS THINNER THEN OTHER DIMES AND IT WIEGHTS 2 TENTHS LESS
 
Looks like its been dug then tumbled with sand or glass media in order to clean for a quick turn in.. :dontknow: That's how I clean my clad coins before I take them to the bank.

welcome to tnet and did u find it near salt water or in sand or even a rocky area???
