This 1995 Buck Kalinga model 401 - UNUSED - UNSHARPENED - LIKE NEW CONDITION - is a rare find! It features the limited edition laminated hardwood handles and original riveted Buck sheath. This one is like new - NO box. It has not been sharpened or used. It is marked: BUCK, USA, C. This knife is 10" in overall length with a 5” blade that is 3/16" thick.
The “Kalinga,” the most sacred of all Watusi drums, was the king's crown, scepter, and seal. The Kalinga mandated immediate allegiance to its owner. Today, big game hunters feel the Buck Kalinga, is also a badge of authority - for the sportsman who wears it.
Finest of the Buck line, the Kalinga is a large game knife. It embodies all of the high quality craftsmanship found in the original Buck factory knives – because this is one! This 1995 "C" model, measures 10" in overall length, with a 5" blade. The blade is designed to permit the full skinning sweep desired by big game hunters. It has handles of beautiful laminated hardwood, sculpted to fit the hand naturally. The full tang of the blade extends the length of the handle.
