Short hunt yields ballistic targets.
Did a short detecting run over an area I've hit numerous times in the past, but had not revisited for a year.
My search area was 5 to 15 feet out from a tree stump; in the past I had uncovered 6 Indian head pennies, a V nickel and a Peters .22 casing.
No IHPs today, but still more small caliber casings and a larger caliber bullet. Bullet and casings were all within 6 feet of one another.
The house on the property was built between 1890 and 1900.
I would appreciate input on the bullet id. Note the diameter(0.318") and length(0.5") on the pic.
Thanks for looking.
