Always something to hunt for even if the ground is frozen rock solid till spring. Goodluck I hope you find a few antlers, by the way go check out ebay for antlers - they worth way more than silver coins.

We looked and looked but couldn't find it, I went back the next day to try again but no such luck. We are giving it another shot here in the morning, and hopefully can find it and more. Its just about that time when they all start fallin.

fasten a roll of fencing to a post, tree, or something else and pour some corn in the roll and up against it. the bucks will hit their antler against the fencing and knock off the loose antlers. might be fun to put a trail camera set to video nearby to see what happens. when a buck looses an antler it messes up his gyroscope and he will sometimes act like a drunk for a few minutes. hope this helps

I was thinking of setting some antler traps here real soon, I just put corn under an elevated log so they got to get their head down in there and knocking off the loose antlers. My luck though just doe's would eat from them though...

That's a nice Buck.Right around the 120" range.
Look for next year sheds,He'll be a 130-135" ...
Great surface find and not even gnawed by critters..

very nice find!!! I have two thus far in 2011, one 4tined side from last year in great condition. The other is a large 4 tined side from probably two years back with chew marks. No fresh drops yet in Central PA!
oh, and to the guys arguing, it is illegal to sell antlers from certain states, PA is one of them for example. Check your local regs!
