Got out this afternoon for a few hrs to an old site of mine that I haven't been to in years.

I grided the site and was rewarded with the 3rd copper to come from this site. Unfortunately, it's toasted but it almost looks like one side has a small circle in the center but it could be my eyes playing tricks.

Any idea's on what the mystery copper might be. Definitely not a Canadian LC.

Maybe try using a "Andre Pencil" to uncover enough detail for a ID ?

That circle on the one side looks like a wreath - maybe an early Large Cent?
