The results of my first hunt of about an hour (before the batteries died) using my new Etrac. First is all the loot and trash.

Next is a sterling silver ring with an indian motif on it.

Two wheat cents.

Finally a 76d cent and a 93d dime. Both have been in the ground for a while. Enjoy the photos, such as they are. Don't think you'll be able to read the STERLING on the ring.

Great job!! I was thinking about etrac is it easy to use ?

AZcoins, the Etrac is simple as can be. I had to learn a little about operating it, but now it pretty much runs itself.

Thank you trapperart for the congratulations.

Nice silver ring recovery!

Nice silver ring. Love my E-trac. I downloaded Bills Trashy Parks program and have used it exclusively. Awesome silver machine. Congrats on a great purchase.

Nice ring. Why did your batteries die so quickly?

Nice way to break in the new machine, silver in the hole.
Congrats!!

It has taken me awhile to learn it.<G> No matter where I go or what I'm doing with the Etrac, it seems to give me signals everywhere. Sometimes the signals are even good.

Congrats on your silver ring - wheaties and clad finds - anyway thanks for sharing your pictures and story with us and I wish you many more great finds while out dirt fishing with your E-Trac.

Nice ring . You will love the ETrac

Congrats on having a good inaugural hunt with your new machine. Are you using the rechargeable power pack?

Yes, I am. But I don't have the recharger. I've placed a call to the dealer where I bought the Etrac, though. I have a very interesting spot in front of a hospital for searching soon ...

Nice to get some silver on the first hunt with a new machine, congrats

Looks like a fine hunt!

The batteries only lasted an hour!?? :icon_scratch:

Thanks, Whadifind! The batteries last about 15 hours per charge. I just got another battery pack for a back-up, and another empty one for regular batteries to fit in, just in case.
