1st hunt of 2010. a rare find in ILLINOIS, at a old 1800s funeral home!!

so up and at it today.. had lots of rain for the past week. and with almost all the snow gone and the ground sorta soft. ( my digging tool died on this hunt ) i made my way to what used to be the old 1800s funeral home... was a wet dig but it was well worth the hunt.. managed 1920, 1958d x2 Wheat's.. 1881, 1902 IHs.. and then by a big ole tree i pulled MY 1st ever CW find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and as soon as it came out of its 6in deep resting place, and i saw the eagle. i was amazed and in awe. extra quality back mark. never thought i would find a button of this type in my life time so i hope this is a good start to a great year... best of digs to all MR TUFF
