1st silver and didn't even realize it. 1945 war nickel + indian head penny pic
Was trying some baking soda cleaning on some plain coppers I found yesterday and I decided to try it on an ugly looking nickel I found. Well the more I cleaned the shinier it started getting. I kept cleaning around the date real good and to my surprise it is a 1945 war nickel. So I guess I am on the board with my first silver.
Also included a pic of the 1905 indian head penny I found yesterday. If you strain your eyes real good then you might can tell what it is. Enjoy and Happy Hunting!!!
Oh, both of these were found about 20-30 yards apart in the same yard, my mother-n-laws, lol!!
