1st silver with 1400 DD and it's a Barber Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I went out for 2 hours after work tonite with oddcoins and another bud, and found a barber quarter with my new 1400 dd loop. It was 6.5 inches and sounded good. I am looking forward to lots more great finds with this loop and some special programs. Funny, I was on stormtroopers post yesterday, complaining that I haven't found silver with this new loop yet, and Viola, I gets me one. Oh, and that mark that looks like a scratch? It isn't. Okay, it is. But I didn't do it. Okay, I did, but there was lots of roots and stuff, Waaaaaaaaaa. Other pics are a few finds from January up untill today.

Oh man!! I was gonna get on here and razz ya about the big scratch you put on this bad boy ~ but it doesn't look all that bad now that all the dirt has been cleaned off of it!

Yeah, so I'm trying to work this afternoon and I've got Ron calling me and saying that he's found a class ring, then Wayne calls and says that he's found a 1898 Barber Quarter! So, I can't just sit there & let them find all the good stuff ~ I close my office early and head down there so me & my XLT can do some serious damage! But all I found was three clad quarters, 1945 & 1948 wheat cents, and a few clad coins. Still, it was better than working!

The coolest thing about Wayne finding this Barber Quarter is that he found it in a PUBLIC PARK!! I don't know if he want me to say which park it is, so I'll say no more for now! I found a 1941 silver quarter at this same park back in July '06.

Anyway . . . . nice find WAYNE!! You kick A$$!!

Way to go, bud! Gotta love them dare' parks! Just to name a few of the good finds I found in a small park last year; 1853 3-cent silver piece, 1875-S S-eated dime, 1912 B-arber dime, pockets full of Indian Heads (17), V nicks, Buff nicks, Wheats, etc. I love them dare' DD coils.

Fishboy, White's makes the dd 1400 loop for the DFX.
