1st time out this year and it's a pain in the "Brass"

Hi all,
Finally, free time and good weather coincided this year and I was able to get out for about 2 hours this morning in the park (old park down by the Missouri River). Spent all my time out in the woods getting reaquainted with the Ace. It was fun, but wish I had found as much weight in coins as I did in expended ammunition. Geez, found most of the larger in one 5'x5' area and the blanks in the same size area about 50' away from the others. Miscellaneous slugs, the inevitable pull tab and a funny broach/button. Had to cut the day short to go have lunch with the little lady, so I got cleaned up and picked up some McDonalds. When I got my change back from the drive through window, I was rewarded with a 1919 Wheatie. That made me feel better about the lack luster hunt earlier. Take care all, happy hunting, and hope to be able to get out again soon.

Neal

I have heard of people going into the woods and shooting up but this is the first proof that i have seen.

The price of brass is going up with all the other metals.

The topper was the 1919 wheatie... you deserved that.

Thanks for sharing

Neal, Looks like you found where Annie Oakley did her target practice. WTG

If you ever happen to come down Lincoln way, give me a call and we'll hit some areas around there.
