I doubt the article is true. From the stories I have read about the old timey outlaws, most of them never had a pot to pee in let a lone a window to throw it out of! Seriously I have read taht the James Gangs entire take wouldn't exceed a couple hundred thousand dollars tht they almost immediatley spent on drinking, gambling, and women not necessarily in that order. If they had that kind of loot they would have lived much higher on the hog than they did. I think. Monty

some belive some do not but on this matter theres more to it than meets the eye just look at joe hunter wells belvins buzzards roost may not be that much gold but the history shows theres some thing near but to search those hills you got a life time i would start near buzzards roost near the spring follow the leads back wards and you can bet its in between mnt tarbone and the keeshi hills hope this helps there lots of books out steve wilson some true most not the old grain of salt mantality
