Hi all i put on a dig today for our forum , i found this very nice edward 111 groat and lead token cheers enjoy

Groats are rare to get & rarer to get in that condition. That makes for a great day.:notworthy:

Any other finds? I like to see the full picture & not just the highlights? Although if this was it I would not complain, one bit:laughing7:

What is that like 12th century ? Killer coin !!! great condition ! Probably could have bought a goat ,or a pig, and a gallon of beer with that
back in the day .

Nice Eddy groat.....will be in Colchester area Saturday (for a week) & hope to make some more good find's myself!

ive allways dreamed of finding a coin like that but living here in the states I can keep dreaming hahahaha I still hope to someday come over and do some digging and so glad u did find them keep digging dirt
