Ant,
Congrats on some great finds! You always find a nice variety. Love the rings.
I think I have that same firetruck? Is that a TootsieToy?
Are you going to try to track down the owner of that dog tag?
Great hunt!!!

amazing finds as always Ant! Love to see your posts, you never let us down!

There are 43 HA Phillips in the US that I could find. Who wants to go through them all? ;D

Nice Finds, but tell me ...

How is your detector able to detect marbles? ??? :D :D

How long did it take you to find all that stuff? :icon_sunny:

Thanks everybody.

Thanks MM.
I think the fire truck might be a Tootsie Toy but I have to take a look, then I’ll report back. And I’d like to find the owner of the dog tag but I don’t have the time. If anyone wants to find the owner or next of kin, go ahead and I send it to who ever claims it.

Good Luck.

Actually last Sunday was the first time I detected a marble, that’s because it was covered with foil. But all the others got eyeballed or dug up retrieving a metal target. The marbles that I eyeball are usually exposed or pushed up out of the ground by construction equipment.

All of the finds came from last Sunday’s hunt, same site, started at about 07:00 AM and stopped around 6:30 PM. Of course I hunted on and off all day, my hunting time was most likely close to 8 hours. I saw Cal Mark, Robert, and Jim the same day, and that was the first time I met Cal Mark who is a stand up guy.

Nice digs there, Anthony!! You got the gold like I knew you would. That necklace sure looks gold too.

The foreign coin that has the flowers on it is a Japanese coin. If you look online you can find some websites that will help you to date it. I am not sure of the exact websites buy I am sure you will have no trouble finding one. I found a coin very similar and it was from 1875.

I lied, I was just looking at my coin and it has a dragon on it. I am certain I have seen that same coin someplace.

Be sure to check it out. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Ant!
Man, that is a cool assortment of find me--s!
That's got to be the thinnest gold ring I've ever seen! I found one almost identical to it yesterday but it turned out to be copper. Were you useing your GoldBug exclusively?

Thanks.

Yes, I use the GB2 exclusively. But when I get off this extended work schedule I’m going to have enough time to start learning my new ML SE. Learning a new machine is like learning a new language, I won’t have time to fool around with it for a couple of weeks.

Good Luck.
