2-20 & 2-21 finds

Sunday 2-20: I ended up getting the morning all to myself. So I decided to try a swimming hole that I had heard about a while back. I was just doing a short hunt, (2 hours) so I figured I would hunt the river bank and the surrounding area. I chose to leave the water for another time. I had a short hike to the spot, so I broke down my Silver Umax and put it in a backpack. The hunt went pretty well considering I was expecting the area to be totally trashed. Now, I dug trash, but not nearly as much as I was expecting.

Well,,, knowing the numbers game of this great hobby and seeing the amount of pulltabs in the pile I will say that you are pretty darned close to a nice gold ring.......

WOW, those pull tabs cleaned up nice!!

Keep digging those and soon you'll be pleasantly surprised with a gold ring.

Love to see people that are good to mother earth, cleaning her up along the way. I've often told new detectorist that you are going to dig your share of junk, not every find is jaw dropping. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Thank you Charlene. In the past 10 years, I think I've dug a few people's share of junk. A few of my friends think I find only jewelry and coins. A few pics of the trash and they see that that's not the case.

Thank you. I was there just over 6 hours. My weapon of trash reduction on this hunt was the Whites 600 di pro.
