Hit a local community center, and found a 1962 Roosevelt Dime, and 4 wheat pennies (1942, 1949, 1949, 1952).
Probably need to revisit that location.
Also went back to a closed elementary school, and dug a little more clad.
I even did the old sidewalks that have been there since the 1960's.
I guess someone beat me to this location.
I am going to cross it off the list.

Nice finds, I cant wait for this snow to melt away. thanks for sharing GL&HH

That is one good thing about living so far south is we can basically hunt year round.
We do seem to get a LOT of rain this time of year though.
I want to get into creek hunting this summer, because last summer it was HOT.
I just need to watch our for our snakes, alligators, and snapping turtles.
I can remember when I was a kid, I hardly EVER saw alligators, now they are everywhere.

Congratz on your finds, especially the silver! You are right about the gators. I think it's time to make it legal to kill them again. Every summer I have 1-3 gators live in the cove behind my house and I have 4 little dogs! I called Wildlife and Game multiple times last year and got nothing but promises. When I suggested that I would take care of the problem myself, I was told it was something like a $5k fine and mandatory 30 days in jail. So, I decided the reward was not worth the risk.

Went back to the community center today, and only got a 1951 wheatie, the rest clad.
I guess that well has dried up.
That really bums me out.
I was really hoping for another silver.

Nick, you didn't miss much Saturday. Good bit of trash, finished with a broken pocket knife, whistle, a couple of memorials and 1921 wheat.
But fun as always.

That is a really old wheatie!
I went out in the woods today and found a round tin.
I have not opened it yet (the buffalo nickel is just for size comparison).
