$2.86 worth of Merc's from the melt bucket

Pulled both of these from the melt bucket. Sent them to ANACS because it was cheap and I was bored. The 1916 came in right were I expected. I thought the 1931-D was an EF-45, so AU-50 is pretty close. Feel pretty good for less than $3.

Where do you guys go to access melt buckets?

What does it cost to have a coin graded and slabbed these days?

Holt - nearly every coin shop has a junk silver bin and many of them will let you look through the bin and buy 90%, usually for < 10% over spot.

Creskol - was $10 a coin with ANACS in June.

Nice "conversion".
Probably both would be in the "sold for" $60 range. Not bad for a little time invested.
