I got to squeeze in 2 hunts after work on Monday and Wednesday. They were about 3 hours each. I picked a local park that used to give up silver.
I figured I would chase down a few deep wheat pennies and/or maybe an Indian Penny of two. Well I did find a few deep Wheat pennies. Most are toast but before I attempted to clean one, (a little more intensely), it clearly showed 1909. The other wheat penny worthy of mention is a 1914. Any coin that has reached the Century mark and beyond is worthy of a little respect.
